So if you truly cannot afford school A, then nothing will change in RD. You still won't be able to afford to attend School A. If however, you might be willing to stretch and afford it if your kid "doesn't get into somewhere acceptable that is more affordable" well then ED is not for you. That is what EA/RD is for---people who want to compare multiple offers. [/quote]
