They don’t have broad liberal arts requirements - like foreign language, English, philosophy, etc. It’s why engineering programs are different from typical university rankings. DC is in an engineering program and his courses requirements only included one humanities course. The rest were math, chemistry, computer and physics courses. DC was shocked they didn’t even have to take an English class and happy about skipping a foreign language.[/quote]
