My advice would to be set out everything you want to bring - try the clothes on, and decide if you like what you have selected. Do a trial pack to see how it fits in your suitcase. I often find when I try it on I remember why I don't wear it and it's easy to unpack it. If something is worn out, you don't like the color, it doesn't fit - that's not going to improve when you get to your destination. Its very rare that I would plan to purchase something when I'm traveling - unless I absolutely love it, need it or I forgot it.

Something I read was don't pack it because you think you might need it, pack it because you will wear it. [/quote]
