I would pack 2 swimsuits - I like to have a dry one if I swim more than once a day. I dislike sand in my sneakers, I dislike putting on/off sneakers if my feet are wet or sandy, I also can't wear flip-flops because of foot issues - I say all of this because my foot choices would be different - I would bring something I can get wet, wear on the beach and to the pool and something I can wear with a summer dress to dinner. I try to stick to 2 shoes - but in this case if I was going to do any exercise - I'd need sneakers- I'd wear those on the plane and find a way to slip in a slide or nice sandal. The nice thing about going some place warm - means closes are lighter so its easy to pack what you need. My advice would to be set out everything you want to bring - try the clothes on, and decide if you like what you have selected. Do a trial pack to see how it fits in your suitcase. I often find when I try it on I remember why I don't wear it and it's easy to unpack it. If something is worn out, you don't like the color, it doesn't fit - that's not going to improve when you get to your destination. Its very rare that I would plan to purchase something when I'm traveling - unless I absolutely love it, need it or I forgot it. Something I read was don't pack it because you think you might need it, pack it because you will wear it.
