Usha was the one that made me wonder if she might understand the Bishop’s point. Melania has been in the Cathedral before and heard this type of message before when Barron attended high school here at an Episcopal School. Just ask those of us who were also in attendance and saw her. Asking for mercy for vulnerable people is what Christian clergy who actually believe in God do. Everyone freaking out is giving themselves away that they are not followers of Christ and God but rather followers of power. [/quote]

These days, a lot of people consider themselves to be both followers of Christ and Power.  Actually, that's been going on  for a long time.  Rulers throughout history have often been Christian.[/quote]
