I live in a purplish part of a deep blue state and I see so much more support for Trump than I saw 8 years ago. Plus, the open dislike for Trump this time around is so much more subdued than in 2017. The fact that most of DCUM will continue to revile Trump just highlights what a bubble they live in and will make the rest of America like him even more. [/quote]

Don’t be too sure of that. Many people will like some of Trump’s policies but not others. Among the ones they approve of (e.g.,“close” the border) will be others that will make them scratch their heads (Gulf of America) or impact their lives in negative ways (weakening of ACA, going after Medicare, Medicaid and more). Many people held their noses and voted for him because they wanted to see material improvements in their lives. When those don’t all materialize, they will notice and not like it. [/quote]
