“MCPS Update: Due to dangerously cold temperatures, MCPS is brining in all outdoor activities inside for Wednesday, Jan. 15” Hopefully the brine isn’t too salty.
Ugh. MCPS update is written in such an awkward manner. MCPS Update: Due to dangerously cold temperatures, MCPS has canceled all outdoor activities for Wednesday, January 15. *and what outdoor activities are canceled? Recess? Sports practices or games? If so, state and clarify.
The email I received says this: Due to dangerously cold temperatures forecasted for our area, Montgomery County has issued a "Cold Emergency Alert." In response, MCPS is moving all outdoor activities inside, including recess, physical education classes, and any other outdoor activity, for Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The text sent at the same time had the “brining” typo. The subject of the email had the typo also.
It’s a relatively more amusing MCPS typo at least…what type of brine is the question
