OMG. Trump is totally clueless and incomprehensible. He wants to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and then talked about having to run washing machines 4 times to get things clean. After which he talked about whales dying off of Massachusetts because of wind turbines.
Whales ARE dying in disproportionate numbers in areas where offshore windmills are located or are being constructed. Something is causing this phenomenon. It needs to be investigated to determine what’s causing it. Whales are extremely sensitive to various types of low or high frequency noise and magnetic fields. Something is causing this and we need to find out what it is. Just because Trump said it, doesn't mean it’s wrong.
gee, I wonder if the seas warming have anything to do with whales dying?
Most species of large whales are pelagic plankton-feeders, and the warming oceans have actually helped whale populations recover faster from being hunted in the 18th-20th centuries because warmer ocean waters allow faster growth rates and higher populations of planktonic organisms.
Thank you! Facts don’t matter to Cultist Libs.
lol no the majority of whales feed on krill. Krill are able to move independently from the current and are a few steps up the food chain from plankton. Plankton can not move independently of the current. Krill stocks are crashing because of global warming. Not one whale species feeds on plankton. The blue whale diet -almost exclusively of krill. Sperm whale diet -giant squid, colossal squid, octopuses, and fish such as demersal rays and sharks but their diet is mainly medium-sized squid. Orcas eat seals, sea lions, dolphins, porpoises, walruses, birds, squid, other whales, etc Beluga whales- variety of fish, mollusks:octopus, crustaceans: Southern Humpback whales -krill is the primary food source Northern Humpback whale -schooling fish like anchovies, cod, sand lance, and capelin Bowhead whales -krill Narwhals -halibut, Polar and Arctic cod, Shrimp, and Gonatus squid baleen whale- Krill Right whale -Krill And whale sharks are sharks not whales but both whale sharks and whales have been killed by toxic algae blooms cause by global climate change.
Scientists believe the mysterious deaths of more than two dozen whales in B.C. and Alaska since May are probably related to the so-called "Blob" of warm water in the Pacific Ocean. The Blob is a 1,600 kilometre wide patch of warmer-than-usual water that has been linked to several anomalies in the Pacific, including a massive toxic algae bloom that contaminates the krill and sardines that many whales eat.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/dead-whales-pacific-blob-1.3228268 God you people are so stupid and arrogant.
