+1 some people don't have the luxury. I have a neighbor whose due date was Sunday. Several of us have been helping them keep their car shoveled out and ready to go in case she goes into labor yesterday or today. Including, yes, taking shifts shoveling them out yesterday morning and last night around 11 after the snow stopped, just in case.

I'm normally very sensitive to loud neighbor noise at odd hours but this wouldn't bother me. It's not like someone using a power drill or a leaf blower in the early morning, or a dog being left to bark for hours. It's someone performing a necessary task that might be very time sensitive.[/quote]
