I thought it was easy watching, not as good as the Good Place, and much more bittersweet at the end.
+1 No where near the brainy philosophical depth of content as the Good Place but it was still worthy content that deals with a sensitive subject with humor - interesting the other GP devil showed up as the arrogant son of wealthy old lady in the senior living home .
If you have not already read Michael Schur's book How to be Perfect, you would like it!
What a great tip. I just looked it up and will definitely get a copy or the audio Overview “How to Be Perfect: The Correct Answer to Every Moral Question is a 2022 non-fiction book by American television producer and author Michael Schur. The book provides an introduction to many philosophical arguments on the concept of ethics, told largely in layman's terms and in a humorous tone.i” I have a masters degree in philosophy but get frustrated with philosophical arguments that can rely on overly reductive logic, and be taken to impractical extremes. Also, usually not draped on senses of irony. That is a big part of why I loved The Good Place so much - it was brilliant, funny and profound. I need to rewatch it. And this book sounds great. Thanks for the rec
