Maybe fishy isn't the right word. Chicago ED has a 30% - 40% acceptance rate. EA is something like 5%. (and RD possibly below 1%). It's really not worth wasting DC's time on EA UNLESS you/they are interested in converting to ED2 if deferred.[/quote]

They don't release any info, so we're both guessing here. There are a couple of EA accepts in Naviance, from our school. I see one RD acceptance in the past 3 years and it was a very special case (we know the kid).[/quote]
