Also there's a lower signal requirement to send a text than to make a call. And.....it's likelt the text is going over the school's Wi-Fi which your teacher likely has her cell phone connected to. Not all cellular service providers/plans permit calling over Wi-Fi. All that said, if your teacher can call 911 from all parts of the school consider yourself lucky. It still however doesn't prevent someone from walking in with a gun and starting to murder innocent children. [/quote]
