I don't know, if you talk to kids that recently went to certain schools they might say differently. Students in schools with large percentages of low-income kids see a lot in their time there. That's a ridiculous article to post. That article has one random student quoted and a reference to the author's sister. Plus it was written during covid and it spends a lot of space in the short opinion piece talking about turning off cameras and using the mute button.
Try to get your facts in order before spreading bad information.

My oldest did very well in mcps and failed one if their 1st semester college courses. This was a class they had an A in here at mcps. The college course was a 101 survey. They are not prepared.[/quote]
