2 out of 8 elected officials not showing up for a annual vote on new officers is something to Montgomery County voters.

I'm a Montgomery County voter, and don't know what you're going on about. Six out of eight is a majority. Yang and Rivera-Oven each received six votes. Whether or not the other two members were there to vote would have made no difference.[/quote]

Don’t know the difference between unanimous and majority.  If it was a majority vote, then say so and be clear it was not unanimous.
