Yea, believe it or not there are a ton of more athletic girls out there playing other sports that are just much better than your daughter  who’s not as athletic but been playing lax for 10 years.  Yes, there will be some girls  that walk right on the field and pick back up bc they played until 5-6 grade and then stopped to focus on their main sport.  But all along they’ve been working out 3 hours a day, seven days a week forever by now and they’re extremely fit, fast and athletic.  Give them a year with a stick in their hands playing
against less superior athletes on JV and their coming for your daughters starting spot on varsity….at least I know my daughters coming for you haha![/quote]

This made up scenario was that some girl was able to pick up a stick for the first time, and after 2-3 months of playing varsity (not one year), became the Starting Middie of one of the Top Private High Schools beating out future D1 Commits.  We all can dream.  Maybe your daughter can be first![/quote]

This is in no way a made-up scenario this girl who plays middie was 2nd team all-conference last year in a conference full of high-level D1 middie commits. It happened, and it happens more than you probably think. Please show any of us where you saw a claim that it was a "Top private"?  I for sure did not see someone claim it was at GC, SR, Visi, or SSASA just that it happened at a local private. [/quote]

The OPs' list also mentioned several other WCAC schools besides GC that most would probably not consider to be top programs but are still usually competitive and play at a high level.

Playing for a school like Marshall, where they averaged 4.5 goals in all games and less than 2 goals a game in their losses, is hardly worth bringing up in any context whatsoever. Yes, I believe a good athlete could start for teams like this but not really validating any kind of point. [/quote]

GC coach is best in WCAC by far and the girls seem to enjoy playing for him. Then PVI coach. BI seems solid and did give GC a tough half last year and beat Visi. DJO coach seems to know the game pretty well, just has no depth (GC freshman team just beat them handedly in indoor). SJC coach is unproven at HS level yet so TBD. AHC coach seems nice. [/quote]
