She never learned how and then my dad died so here we are. Does this mean all people in their 80s are incapable of making a hotel reservation? No, of course not, but it is certainly true of some of them. If your parents are still fully managing paying their bills, making hotel reservations and planning vacations, well, consider yourself lucky.[/quote] That's fine, but the PP implied that elderly people are incapable of this, and some of us pointed out that yes, they are.
