Luigi Mangione wasn’t dumb and knew the world of wealthy people very intimately. I imagine he spent his entire life in close proximity to CEO types and their kids. He knows how these people talk about the unwashed masses and he knows how precisely undeserving they are of the stratospheric levels of wealth they’ve acquired.[/quote]

He also dropped off the grid recently. Very likely the shooting was caused by his mental illness rather than any disgust he felt over how the wealthy spoke
