Sigh. I have a 10.5 year old DD and none of this stuff would fly with her. She doesn't know name brands, she isn't into makeup etc. It's hard because after toys, makeup/skincare, designer clothes seem to be the next step. My kid is sporty and active and loves Taylor Swift. But there's only so much Swiftie stuff we can get here! I have the TSwift Target book and a game. But I'm also lost. Am considering some room decor, that's a good suggestion.
My non-makeup 12 year old went from toys to craft supplies, sports gear, and room decor. Jewelry and skincare/makeup did not fly at 10-11 with her. Someone upthread mentioned and Owala and that's definitely the "it" water bottle at our school, even though Stanleys are still big as well. Both my 12 and 10 year old asked for an Owala this year and sporty kids always need water bottles.
