My parents' neighbor was apparently obsessed with updating before they sold. The people that bought their house had plenty of money and a different vision for the house and ripped out most of those brand new updates. That said, a coat of paint and clean carpets, staging, are likely worth the money simply to make the house look its best.[/quote]
