Although even without them, many middle class and upper middle class parents are fleeing even “good” public schools due to ESL and IEP’s run amok. Schools are having to handle both without enough staff and funding and the “regular” kids are getting lost. My kids are in HS now and want to finish where they are, but if I had little kids starting out, I don’t think I’d send them to our “good” public school. [/quote]
