Whatever are you prattling on about. They investigated and concluded this wasn’t a hate crime. Why is it so important to you that it be one? What is wrong with you?[/quote]

They said they started investigating and have not yet found evidence.  I agree it's poorly worded, because the date alone is evidence, but obviously they would need more evidence.  It doesn't sound like they have found the person who did it yet, which means that they aren't at the point of deciding what to charge them with anyway.[/quote]
