It's possible the people living in the neighborhoods around Hooes Road do not want lights on every field.   I don't think this is something the club can arbitrarily do. They have to go through the county.  Maybe it has been tried previously and the neighbors and county said no? I do not know. [/quote]

This is exactly the issue at Hooes.  You can find it online at the county website if you go look up permits and public meetings.  Several years ago, SYC sent it around to parents at the club asking for us to support when the lights were going up.  The surrounding homeowners were furious and the county ultimately approved for only 1 field.
