My 2022 grad would love to be in your daughter’s shoes. Instead she’s working for half that in a boring job and living in her childhood bedroom because she can’t afford to move out. I think your daughter needs some perspective.
I would not be so hard on OP's daughter because everyone situation is different. My DS recently graduated from UVA, and he is still looking for work. He does not have student loans or any debt, so he can afford to spend his time looking for the right job while living at home. When he is not looking for jobs (he spends six hours M-F jobs searching), he goes to the gym, plays tennis, golf, and works on his social skills. He has a few upcoming job interview referrals from people he met on the golf course, and he is very excited about them. Hopefully, it will work out in the end. FWIW, he is very grateful that he can live at home with supporting parents while he is looking for work.
