A family friend uses Evie (rhymes with heavy) as a nickname. I have known a few Eves but they weren't short for anything, and the two Evies (ee-vees) I knew were nicknames/variations for the full name Eve. One friend also uses Ava as a nickname for Evelyn, so I think you have a lot of options. [/quote]
