Serious question: Why isn't Kamala campaigning this week? For the second day in a row - 13 days before the election - no rallies, no appearances. Just prepping for short sit-down interviews. I hate to be the one to put this out there, but - I think she's thrown in the towel. How else to read this? OP, your enthusiasm is appreciated, but if the candidate doesn't have it, how can we?
She needs a lot of time to prep for interviews.
PP again. I get that, but why do interviews at all? I did just read that she declined Joe Rogan, so I think that's a good move. She's clearly better at group events and rallies. I don't understand why she's not barnstorming the swing states like Trump is. She could easily do a couple of rallies each day in each swing state and that would do a lot to energize her campaign. I seriously don't understand this decision.
Perhaps if you followed something other than Fox News and OAN, you would know she is barnstorming the swing states. That's pretty much all she is doing between media interviews. Trump has more holes in his schedule as he has cancelled all mainstream media after the disastrous Univision Town Hall coupled with the Bloomberg interview. And she is not holding a rally in the LA coliseum a week before the election (Trump, MSG, 10/27).
This is simply not true. Anyone can look this up. She was off the campaign trail yesterday (10/22) and today (10/23). She may be visiting swing states later this week, or next week, but that's not what we're discussing. The question is, why is she not out there every single day (including yesterday and today), working as hard as some of her volunteers like OP?
Harris has had a lot more campaign stops in the last two weeks than Trump has. Just because he scheduled a full schedule of events doesn't count for much when he canceled more than half of his stops in the last week and a half. He's old and tired. If he can't handle his campaign schedule without canceling more than half of his events, how is he going to handle the busy schedule of the President which is non-stop. He took more golfing vacations during his first term than any other President in history. And he can't keep up with the campaign schedule without canceling several events to "rest" for 2-3 days between events. And Harris is not off the campaign trail. Monday, she hit three stops, in Michigan, Wisconsin and then Pennsylvaniia. Tuesday, she was doing an interview on Telemundo to reach out to Latino voters and another one on NBC News. She has a Town Hall tonight at 9:00 PM in Pennsylvania.
OK, this is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Trump had 2 rallies just yesterday. Guys, we are behind in every measure of early voting in the swing states. I'm sorry if that hurts to hear, but it's the truth. Why isn't the candidate working her butt off at this point? She isn't. She's hiding behind "meetings" and prep for what should be short and easy interviews. She is NOT working this like someone who wants to win.
