Send your child to Sidwell or one like it (Sidwell is tough to get into.) Many Catholics are okay / even accepting of gay parents but that's not the same as truly embracing diversity.  I'd also consider the other parents attitudes' as a factor.  Some will be true Catholics and may exclude your child.  I'll likely be attacked but it is true.[/quote]

I wish we would afford schools like Sidwell! We can’t. We aren’t a same sex couple, just would like our kids to be around an environment that is supportive of those couples… Public is an option but our local school is super crowded [/quote].

Are you OP? Catholic schools aren't where you go to "be supportive of same sex couples"  BFFR as the kids say.
