How do you guys even know your IQs?
Very few people do. Most guess or cherry pick based on some sort of standardized test or group test given in school. Many people incorrectly use their kid's CogAT score as the IQ when talking about IQ. Very few people have any need to know their IQ or their kids' IQs. IQ measures something, but it isn't the be all and end all. After a point, "gifted is as gifted does," and kids who are doing well in advanced classes in high school will likely continue doing well in college and beyond. Kids struggling in high school will likely continue struggling, even if they have a high IQ.
