And at least Biden/Harris admin has been heavily promoting build American, buy American, onshoring, building US plants and so on. Trump just comes up with harebrained schemes like "200% tarriffs" and pretends China will be the one paying for it. This is the latest insult - "black jobs" now "child jobs." The man was handed a half-billion dollar real estate empire and was basically a pretend-businessman his whole life. Most of the pretend-business ventures of his failed, Trump casinos, Trump steaks, Trump university, and so on. He could have just invested what his daddy gave him into an index fund and would be much richer than he is today.[/quote]
