OP - very good points … I was wondering about the green side of things - if the negatives outweigh any gains.

Elon takes risks most of us would not and it has paid off for him and many who have invested in his other cars and rocket ships. He seems to be pretty much off the rails now so not sure this cyber truck thing will pay off for him. Maybe it was worth experimenting with though to see if  the many people who love trucks and big cars could indulge that and be greener. [/quote]
