I'm in the same camp, and my rheumatologist is treating me as if I do have lupus. She said that 10-25% of lupus patients don't have the ANA markers but are diagnosed based on the symptoms. I feel you on the lack of nutritional guidance. I like my rheumatologist; she's very thorough. Yet she's not a good resource when I ask about nutrition. My diet is already heavy on fish and chicken and very light on red meat, so it's not that much of a change for me to cut out processed meat. I added frozen blueberries in my daily breakfast. Between that and Plaquenil my symptoms are pretty well under control. [/quote]
