My grandparents were late end of the Greatest Generation and lived in Leisure World for decades (90s to their death in the early 2010's). Rarely saw dogs or pets in their community. My Boomer mother recently moved to a retirement community and the place is overrun with f#cking dogs. My Boomer MIL owns an oceanside vacation condo and while they have strict dog rules, there's always some Boomer or Millennial renter getting caught breaking them and throwing a hissy fit when security enforces the rules. HOA is constantly issuing fines to owners with dogs. [/quote]
