But there's no doubt Vanderbilt has been raking it in for years as a member of the SEC. They might not have a winning record, but it's been an extremely profitable arrangement for them - roughly a billion dollars for ten years. Vanderbilt is a founding member of the SEC and the only private university in the league. They are never leaving the SEC. Not that anyone is asking. Winning is still a little unusual for them.
