What works for MIT won't necessarily work for Brown. Something that is rarely mentioned in these discussions about abolishing legacies is that the donations $$ from alumni hoping for a legacy seat at a university to fund financial aid and other priorities, like first generation students. Seems like a win-win to me?[/quote]
