I don't know why people get weird about cleaning toilets. You're using a brush on the inside (or cloth or paper towels on the outside) so it's not like you're touching anything. It's not a particularly difficult task to do compared to cleaning other surfaces or mopping. I worked in food service as a teen and mopping the public bathroom was much worse than cleaning the toilet.
OP here and I do like this comment because I agree cleaning a toilet is not very hard. I'd rather clean toilets than vacuum or deal with cat litter or deep clean the fridge -- all those other tasks are more time consuming and either physically more arduous or grosser. I will say that cleaning a toilet someone else has been using is annoying especially if that someone is an adult. Even though I don't really mind cleaning toilets I will sometimes ask my spouse to do it just so I don't feel like I'm the designated toilet cleaner. I do think there is something specifically about expecting someone else to clean your toilet that seems ... I don't know. High and mighty or something.
I'm the poster who hasn't cleaned a toilet in 25 years... I love to deep clean a fridge. My BFF's son just bought a house and it had a very dirty fridge. I deep cleaned it for them while they had contractors walk around discussing what needed to be fixed.
What?
I cleaned a fridge how is that confusing to you.
Lots of weirdness in your post. How is that confusing to you?
But it’s her bff’s son. You know, best friend forever. Don’t we all call our friends that as adults?
I went to see her son's new house, the fridge was disgusting, I cleaned it. But sure your post is the normal one. DCUM, never change.
