I'm referencing the violent crime rate over the last 15 years not one month... UVA has more murders on the lacrosse team than Umd has on campus in the last.....forever. Not to mention the horrible abduction and murder of a poor coed at the on campus arena.  Yuck.[/quote]

The facts, however, demonstrate that Maryland has more on campus assaults in a typical weekend  day than UVa has in months.  The one murder case is clearly an outlier.  And of course, the murderer was born and raised in Maryland.  We don't know where the concertgoer was abducted, but we do know that it was not at the arena.  Maryland needs to enhance its research methodology requirements.[/quote]
