People may feel like this isn't an accurate statement or say this person is just sour grapes but it isn't entirely false. Seeing how the process works, you can understand how the net just isn't big enough to actually identify everyone. Also factor in the gatekeeping at the local levels with no oversight is problematic as well, but can't blame them too much, they don't feel like the system is broken and nor do they want to invest more into identifying players.[/quote]
We were literally told by our DOC that US Soccer likes it when they send the same players year after year so scouts can evaluate their progress.
