Shingles can be a side effect of covid vaccines.
Shingles can be a side effect from any vaccine. It can be a side effect of COVID. But let’s be realistic, a 53 year old who isn’t aware of the Shingrix being available to them for 3 years hasn’t had a COVID vax since their first 2 shots in the pandemic.
Well, that's a question for OP. Did you get the new covid booster, OP?
No. I had the first two shots in the pandemic. I have never had Covid, to my knowledge-have never tested positive. In defense of not realizing I was eligible for the shingles shot-the last few years I was consumed with my ailing parent/s health (it was a difficult decline and death of one and decline of the other), and wasn't prioritizing mine. I'm certain the built-up stress from all that contributed to me getting shingles.
I called it. Weird PP was a anti-vaxer blaming COVID vax.
