U of A isn’t a commuter school.   I appreciate how laid back kids are who attend.  They are smart but not balls of stress since getting into college in Arizona isn’t stressful and it seems like most kids in state go to one of the state schools and it’s a respected choice.  [/quote]

At the University of Arizona, approximately 80% of students live off-campus. While the university provides on-campus housing, it primarily caters to freshmen, and many students choose off-campus housing after their first year.

That doesn’t make them a commuter school.  Tucson is filled with relatively cheap housing options near the U so most students live off campus in the neighborhoods around campus after their first year.  They are right there just in private apartments or houses.

It’s a really good school for certain majors.  I know a lot of people there who have gone on to really good graduate programs. Pre-med, geology, aerospace and some other stem fields very strong.  I think ASU considered better for business majors.  [/quote]
