What does this mean exactly?  20%?  40?

I ordered from these services for delivery but only from places within 10 minutes drive to my house.  2 to 3 per month.  Only tip 4-6 dollars and never have a problem.  Always receive the food in same condition and time as if picking it up myself.  [/quote]

I am a regular Door Dash user and a generous tipper. Tipping does not guarantee good service or that the driver will not do other deliveries before yours. They do offer the option of paying extra for "direct" delivery now, but I resent paying extra when I am already giving a great tip. I understand that drivers want to maximize their income, but there should be a limit on the delivery area for other stops. About a month ago, I ordered from a restaurant 20 minutes from my house. I watched the driver travel 20 miles in the opposite direction to make a stop before heading to my house, arriving 45 minutes after the estimated delivery window. It was ridiculous.

Has anyone else noticed a significant increase in Door Dash drivers making multiple deliveries in the past 6 months? I definitely have.[/quote]
