Many people die of colds that turn into pneumonia but the CDC does not collect data on colds; they just attribute those cold deaths to pneumonia. In contrast, people that die from pneumonia due to covid are also logged as covid deaths. We have no way of knowing how deaths from colds compare to deaths from covid because we don't measure the former. [/quote]
