I dont think he's gay- maybe not as "macho hetero" as we seem to expect from American men but he certainly seems to look at her with real love in his eyes. I think maybe men (and sometimes women) tell themselves that to feel better because they know theyre not stepping up to the plate the way Jett is [/quote]

Meh. They are young and about to have their first baby. The young, pre-kid time in many long term relationships is like this. It’s wonderful and cute, but the jury is out on whether he’s done any plate stepping. We will have to wait.

I’m a lot more impressed with my husband. We are late 40s, I am in perimenopause, and we have two teens in the house with intense athletic commitments. He has stepped up to the plate. Jett is good at the easy stuff so far. [/quote]
