I feel like I need to go very Devil Wears Prada here - but do you think that these guys just fell out of the coconut tree like this?
Is that The Ramones? Yes, I think they always looked like that. I also think it's different for performers vs. audience. If OP wants to look good and attract attention that's understandable. But it's a Weezer concert. I like Weezer but they're dorks. A tank or tee that fits well and jeans that fit well works fine.
They did not just happen to have four matching leather jackets. They went out and bought them, and decided to all wear them. Those jackets had cultural meaning and cache. Yes the Ramones could have worn a dirty towel as a skirt and they'd look cool - but they didn't just wear a dirty towel; they put on these uniforms that were their brand, and that were incredibly intentional. Being in the audience of a show is sort of a performance of its own. Why do you think there's a whole tradition of concert pics that include photos of the audience? Why do Beyonce and Taylor Swift show-goers put so much thought into their appearance? Yes, Weezer is a whole different thing - it's 90s slacker stuff, so you're not supposed to look like you put any thought into what you're wearing, unlike with Beyonce or Taylor where it's not shameful to get dressed up. But OP is excited - she wants to think about her outfit. She's not going to wear a gold dress and friendship bracelets to Weezer (though why not, if she wants to?). But thinking about what to wear that will fit in with the occasion and also help her attract a potential mate - there is nothing wrong with that.
