Nope. Not equitable at all. You have no idea of the reason one parent may not be working full time in a family. Maybe that parent is working part time. Maybe that parent is caring for an aging parent and cannot work but still cannot pick up their kid. Maybe the parent is disabled in some way. Everyone who goes to public school should have access to the bus and it should never be dependent on “who’s working.” What a ridiculous statement. [/quote]

It is very equitable.  If there is no driver at home, then you get a bus.  If there is an able driver available, you don’t. [/quote]
