The ones who are struggling at my kid’s ivy are the TO kids. They admit it to their closer friends. One is on academic probation its rough. TO was a failed experiment. My DC’s feel bad for the ones who can’t keep up, well below means. [/quote]

[b]A 1480 going TO to a T25 is fine[/b], if they have 8-10 AP, and a 3.9+UW and the drive to be there.  A 1350 is very different, unless there is a huge reason behind the Lower test score.

FWIW, I've never understood why you would want your kid in over their head.  Goal is to learn and enjoy college.  Much easier to do if you are at 50%+
