Serious question, why should we treat women candidates the same as male candidates? Yes, women are judged on their looks more than men. That's not fair, and maybe it's not right...but it's true. Pretending that it doesn't matter is to deny reality. And, frankly, I don't think there's anything wrong with paying attention to how people dress themselves. We live in a society where there is a standard uniform for men, but not for women...so it's harder for women in some sense, in another women have more freedom and flexibility. Either way, it is really reasonable in the fasion forum of a site filled with professional women to pay attention to the fashion of one of the politically highest ranking American women in history.

FWIW, I'm a petite Indian-American woman in an extremely male-dominated field. Since HS, I've often been the only woman in the room, and I've had to figure out my own style with few role models. I love fashion and feminine clothes, and I have to strike the right balance professionally. I enjoy seeing what other women do.[/quote]
