Thank you! I think that’s what turned me off and made me think he wasn’t serious. I wish I could show you all the video - it’s just odd IMO to post anything with women that could be misinterpreted when you’re trying to get back together with someone. Plus, who takes a selfie video of themselves on a boat on the Potomac? It’s not like he’s in Santorini with beautiful scenery. [/quote]

You are correct in that, OP. The red flag here isn’t being on a boat with women in bikinis. The red flag is that he doesn’t have the sense of how you, the woman he wants to try to reconcile with, might read this, and how others are reading this too. I’m in my early 40s but it doesn’t feel that long ago when I had to grapple with these kinds of questions too. If you’re asking yourself and DCUM why he didn’t have the wherewithal to ask himself about the optics or hasn’t done the introspection needed to restart this relationship on proper footing, then you have your answer.
