I am not at all a Christian and, in fact, I believe that religion has caused more harm in the world than good. However, I 100% agree with your main point OP: "The message needs to be that the decision is made by women". It's simple to me: all women should have the right to make their own personal decision and the government/laws should be no where to be found in the decision-making process.
