If you say you don't have/time money for that, she may have solutions/compromises, or not.

You are making a lot of assumptions.  My recommendation is that you stop.  Tell them about your trip.  If they do in fact "invite themselves" tell them no and tell them why.  You might be surprised how beneficial that conversation could be.[/quote]
