I think it's more than social norms. Some things on your body are private and the whole world doesn't need to know the color of your pubic hair. Maybe I'm more sensitive to this because I have red hair and got comments about it in my teens, but it's ridiculous to support a world in which my kids' teacher, who goes to the same pool, would know what her students' pubic hair looks like because "body positivity."[/quote]

So anything goes?  Everyone at the pool knows what color a young girl's pubic hair is.  Why teach them that nobody should touch them in private places without permission if nothing is private?
