Second question. What about staying on lower teams? This is really dependent on the coaches, and frankly the other parents, in your group. If your kid is on a Blue or white team with people they like, and the parents are chill, then the only thing you want is consistent coaching that doesn’t make your kid feel like shit. If your Blue team has a bunch of parents who think their child should be playing ECNL and getting recruited for college, then your time on Blue is gonna suck. If everyone understands it’s a way for your kids to test themselves, make friends and build the skills so they can also play in HS, then you will be happy.[/quote]
