The only way Biden isn't the nominee is if he himself chooses to step down or if he can't proceed as the nominee due to death or a serious health matter. We knew how old he would be in 2024 when we nominated and elected him in 2020. Being 81 years of age and having a 35% to 40% approval rating would be a death sentence for an incumbent POTUS seeking re-election in normal times.
